	MEDICAL STAFF Dr. Lowell A. Hughes MB.BS. FRCS(Ed.) FRCS(C) Dr. Lowell Hughes is a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the Canadian Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons. He received his medical degree (with honors) from the University of the West Indies and was board certified in general surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Hughes completed his plastic and reconstructive residency at the University of Toronto, in Canada and became board certified as a plastic surgeon by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Hughes is currently specializing in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at his practice. Dr. Hughes is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and an international corresponding member of the American Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society. Over the years Dr. Hughes has published papers on Breast Surgery, Facial fractures, Hand Injuries, Cranio-facial implant research and leg flaps.
	Dr. Rona Hodge, MD FACS Dr. Rona Hodge, MD FACS is a board certified General Surgeon, certified by the American College of Surgeons. She received her Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina and was the sole recipient of the James Bell-Buillit award at graduation. In 1990, Dr. Hodge completed a 5 year residency in General Surgery at the University of North Carolina Hospitals and Clinics. Subsequently, Dr. Hodge worked a general surgeon in various settings including 11 years with the Kaiser Permanente Kansas City division. Following this, she worked for three years as a locum tenens traveling to Arizona, Oklahoma and Hawaii to work with diverse populations to include Navaho and Choctaw Indians. Dr. Hodge is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Nathan A. Womack Surgical Society. She has special interests and expertise in Laparascopic Surgery, treatment of diseases of the breast, varicose veins of the lower extremities and diseases and procedures of the gastrointestinal tract to include Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy.
	Dr. Sonia A. L. Meade-Swanston MB. Bs. DGO Dr. Sonia Meade-Swanston MB. BS. (Hons.) practices as a Family Physician and Obstetrician/ Gynecologist. She pursued her training at the University of the West Indies where she achieved honours in Obsteterics and Gynecology. Dr. Meade-Swanston has over twenty years of varied and extensive experience as a physician throughout the region and further afield. She has been a Lecturer and Associate Professor for various medical programs throughout her career. Dr. Meade-Swanston has practiced medicine actively in various capacities in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
