AND GYNECOLOGY SERVICES
At the Hughes Medical
Centre, our Obstetricians are available to provide Antenatal
care.
Gynecological services
include consultations, pap smears, family planning counseling,
procedures for the management of abnormal pap smears (colposcopy,
cryosurgery and electrocautery), diagnostic ultrasounds, Laparscopic
surgery, open surgery on the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes
and vulva.
The majority of
our surgical procedures are done on an outpatient basis, i.e.
the patients are discharged from our facilities on the same
day of surgery. We also perform surgical procedures requiring
one or two nights’ recuperation at our facility.
