Abdominoplasty

When abdominal liposuction will not be able to give you the shape you desire, an Abdominoplasty may be a good choice for you. The procedure is designed to firm and smooth the abdomen by removing excess skin and fat and shifting the abdominal muscles back to the midline. The result is a tightening of any loose hanging skin resulting in a renewal of your figure around the tummy area.

During the procedure a horizontal incision is placed just within or above the pubic area. The incision is placed just within the swim suit lines, when it is possible. It is important to note that Abdominoplasty is not a substitute for weight loss. The aim of the procedure is to flatten and tighten the contour of the abdomen to give you a smoother figure. Back to work in 2 to 4 weeks.
